About Alex Slater

Swing, soul and serious showmanship – Alex Slater has the voice to impress and the patter to get any crowd laughing and on its feet.

A classically trained actor, slam-winning performance poet and stand-up comedian, Alex has been singing professionally for over 10 years. He has performed his swing show at five-star European resorts, worked as a singing waiter at top corporate functions and fronted several high-end function bands, including the twice national wedding award-winning Funtime Frankies.

His versatile voice moves easily from swing, Motown, soul and R&B to rocky party anthems and modern dance classics, while years on the comedy circuit make his crowd interaction second to none. A top-class, fully rounded act.

Ideal for: weddings, corporate functions, private parties, live music venues and holiday parks.
