Events we book

Club nights, birthday parties, anniversaries and weddings are the most common. Village halls here host a lot of family parties and community events, where a vocalist or children's entertainer is often ideal.

Village hall parties

Village halls around Selby host many of the area's family celebrations. They're usually affordable and flexible, but check the practicalities: where the sockets are, whether there's a stage, what time music must finish and whether there's a separate room for the act to change. Most of our solo acts are completely self-contained and used to working in halls like these. For a family party, a children's entertainer early on, followed by a vocalist or tribute for the adults, is a winning combination.

Choosing an act

For club concert rooms, vocal entertainers and vocal comedians are reliable choices. For family parties, ABBA, Motown and children's entertainers suit mixed ages. For weddings, see our wedding singers.
