Entertainment for Hire in Brighouse

Getting there

Brighouse is usually reached via the A644 through Hartshead and Bailiff Bridge or along the A641. With junction 25 of the M62 right on the edge of town, it is one of the easiest places in Calderdale for acts to reach.

Venues in and around Brighouse

Brighouse has a lively town centre with pubs and bars, and the surrounding area includes:

• Hotels close to the M62, often used for weddings, Christmas parties and corporate events
• Cricket, golf and sports clubs with function rooms
• Pubs with function rooms in the town and nearby villages such as Hipperholme, Lightcliffe and Southowram
• Village and community halls for family events
• Wedding venues in the surrounding Calderdale countryside

Countryside venues can have long driveways or limited parking, so we confirm access and set-up details with the act.

Popular events in Brighouse

Weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries and Christmas parties make up most of our Brighouse bookings. The town's position next to the motorway also makes its hotels popular for corporate events and awards dinners, where a swing singer or crooner for dinner followed by a party band works well.

Ideas for Brighouse events

• Wedding at a country venue: an acoustic duo for the drinks reception, singing waiters during the meal and a band in the evening.
• Hotel Christmas party: a crooner during dinner, then a tribute or party band.
• Cricket club birthday: a vocal entertainer or solo tribute with DJ music between spots.
• Pub function room: an acoustic vocalist or vocal comedian.

Brighouse is also well placed for guests travelling from across Calderdale and Kirklees, which makes it a popular choice for family celebrations where relatives are coming from different directions.

Picking the right act

For hotels and larger rooms, consider a function band or a tribute show. For pubs and smaller function rooms, a vocalist or duo is often the better fit. If you'd like something different, our speciality acts include singing waiters and a magic mirror photo booth.
