Getting there

The M6 runs through the east of the county, with the A591 into the central Lakes, the A590 to the south-west and the A66 across to the west coast. Lake District roads are narrow and slow, especially in summer, so travel takes longer than the distance suggests.

Venues we supply

Lakeside and country-house hotels for weddings
Barns and outdoor venues for rustic weddings and parties
Holiday parks and hotels for regular entertainment nights
Social clubs and function rooms in Carlisle, Barrow and the west coast towns

Choosing an act

Many Lake District venues are intimate or have strict sound limits, so acoustic acts and solo singers are often a better fit than a loud band. For larger hotels and holiday parks, tribute acts and vocal entertainers keep guests entertained.

Planning tips

For winter dates, allow for weather on the fell roads and confirm a contact number at the venue in case of delays.

Frequently asked questions

Can acts travel to remote Lake District venues?

Yes. We plan realistic travel times and, for late finishes far from the act’s base, we’ll check whether overnight accommodation is needed and include it in your quote.

Do you supply entertainment for hotels and holiday parks in the Lakes?

Yes. We book acts for regular entertainment nights as well as one-off events.

What works best for a small lakeside wedding?

Acoustic duos, solo vocalists and string-style acts suit smaller rooms and venues with sound limits.

How much does it cost to book an act?

Fees depend on the act, date, travel and set length, so we quote each event individually. Send an enquiry with your date and venue postcode and we’ll come back with a tailored price – there’s no obligation.
