Booking a tribute act is easy when you know what to ask. This guide covers the questions we hear most often from people booking their first show for a party, club night or corporate event.
What affects the price: the size of the line-up (a solo singer with backing tracks costs less than a full live band), the date (Saturdays in December are the busiest of the year), travel distance, set length, and extras such as costume changes or dancers. We don’t publish fees because every event is different, but we will always give you a clear quote: the price we quote is the price you pay, with no hidden booking fees.
Timings: most tribute shows are two sets of around 45 minutes, or one longer 60 to 90 minute set. Many acts can play background music or a DJ playlist between sets. Check each act’s page for its usual set times.
What the venue needs: a stage or clear floor space, a safe power supply near the performance area, somewhere to change, and access for unloading equipment. Most acts bring their own PA and lighting; we confirm the details with you and your venue beforehand.
How far ahead to book: for a Saturday in December or a summer wedding, book as early as you can. For other dates, use our live diary to see who is free right now, then send one enquiry for all the acts on your shortlist.

How much does a tribute act cost?
It depends on the line-up, date, travel and set length. Send us your date and venue and we will come back with a tailored quote, with no hidden booking fees and no obligation.
Do tribute acts bring their own sound system?
Most do. We confirm PA, lighting, power and set-up space with your venue before the event.
Can I see the act before booking?
Yes. Most of our acts have videos on their profile pages, and some have public shows you can go and watch.
What if the act cancels?
Our emergency letdown service runs 365 days a year and we will arrange a replacement, often the same day.
Do I pay a deposit?
We usually ask for a small deposit by bank transfer to secure the booking, with the balance paid to the act on the night or held in our client account.
